10 years at ARRK Engineering - how did your journey with us begin?

After my studies, I worked in the field of renewable energies as a product manager for solar modules. Through an acquaintance, I then applied to ARRK - at that time as an application engineer in the field of e-mobility - and was responsible for the development and application of e-machines and inverter functions. Since then, I have been "settled."

What has shaped you the most in this long time?

Back then, ARRK Engineering had only 1,000 employees and was correspondingly more manageable. Of course, it's a different way of working than today with 1,600 colleagues. However, then as now, I was impressed by the informal, unaffected atmosphere and the cohesion. At all times, I was trusted to take on positions of responsibility and to play an active role in shaping the business. That's a fine thing!

You work as a Leading Expert in the Electronics & Software area. What are your biggest challenges?

Oh ... They arise anew every day! But the next goals are quite clear: we are increasingly networking in-house product development with the cockpit electronics area and are striving to enter the international startup business. That's incredibly interesting and exhausting at the same time - but it motivates me every day. In addition, it is always important to follow the trend topics: Connected vehicles, intelligent IVI systems... the future will probably belong to the areas of software and connected services.

... passing on knowledge. That is enriching and at the same time absolutely meaningful.
